Tilly

I finished making Tilly today. She is in the lastest Country Threads Magazine. Vol 6 No 8. She also has a doll in her hand (Pip) but I chose not to make Pip.

Well I finally got to see the whales at Hervey Bay. It was a fantastic day. You have to be very quick to get the pics. A fast shutter thingee would be good. When I click to take the pic my camera takes another sec or 2 before it actually takes the pic so needless to say the whales are back in the water before I get a photo. I did manage to get a couple though ~ I anticipated rather well.

The Laundry

This is our new laundry. Notice the 'Caring Hearts' on my washing machine. Oh, the television won't be staying there either ~ just don't know what to do with it yet. I know I have a pic of it before we started somewhere ~ I'll go have another look before I post this. BRB.

Well there ya go it was there in 'My Pictures' all the time ~ couldn't see for lookin'.

The Bathroom

This is the bathroom before we pulled it apart.





This is what we have now.

It is all looking good. Painting is finished ~ just a few touch ups here and there.

Do we need a new shed?

We are undecided about this shed. It's 'should we get a new one or not'. Well why not have a new one, we decided ~ it will be sad to see the old one go though. Some things are so difficult to part with.

This is my latest quilt ~ the Gardeners Journal. Still have to do the quilting etc.

This <>>>>>>> is what we have now. It is basically finished outside now, of course we will eventually have some gardens of some sort but that is Johns department.

We are very pleased with the way it has turned out. Our painters will be back next Wednesday (12th) to finish inside for us. Then the floor coverings will be put down. Finally a new shed and hopefully that will be it.

P.S. I have fixed the date on my camera as well.

Outside of House so far.

This is the house before we started ~ minus the fence, we had to put that up.












This is after we had the old windows pulled out and the new ones put in.












And this one is after the cladding was put on. We still have to have the eaves, facia board and gutters painted. The steps have to painted or whatever as well.


We are quite pleased with how things are going so far. We have been extremely lucky with all the tradesmen/workers we have had, they have done excellent work.

My old and new Kitchen

Hi, Just thought I would post a couple of before and after pics of my kitchen. I am really pleased with the end result. The bathroom is being done this coming Tuesday so will have a pic of that soon as well.


The dates on these pics are not quite right ~ one day I will fix the date up on my camera......one day, one day, one day.

Hidden Treasures

Well I too have joined but presently my blocks are what the title reads Hidden Treasures. When I get around to opening all my boxes of craft stuff hopefully I will find them. I will then get a piccie of them all together. Mind you I only have two.
